Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering, commissions, shipping, and caring for your resin art.

Ordering & Commissions

How do I order a piece?+

You can browse and purchase available pieces on our Etsy shop, or contact me directly through the Get in Touch form for specific enquiries. For custom commissions, please reach out with your vision and I'll guide you through the process.

How do custom commissions work?+

First, we'll have a conversation about your vision — colours, size, style, and where the piece will be displayed. I'll provide a quote and timeline. A 50% deposit is required to begin, with the balance due upon completion. I'll share progress photos throughout the process.

How long does a custom commission take?+

Most commissions take 2–4 weeks from confirmation, depending on size and complexity. Resin art requires careful layering and curing time between layers. I'll give you an estimated timeline when we discuss your project.

Can I request specific colours or sizes?+

Absolutely! Custom commissions are made to your specifications. I can match colours to your interior, create specific sizes, and incorporate particular materials or elements you have in mind.

What payment methods do you accept?+

I accept bank transfers and PayPal for direct orders. Etsy orders are processed through Etsy's secure payment system, which accepts all major credit/debit cards and PayPal.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?+

I ship throughout the UK. International shipping is available on request — please contact me for a quote. All pieces are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

How much does shipping cost?+

UK shipping is calculated based on the size and weight of the piece. Standard UK delivery typically costs £5–£15. Exact costs will be confirmed at checkout or when you place an order.

How are pieces packaged?+

Every artwork is wrapped in protective foam, bubble wrap, and placed in a sturdy custom box. I take extra care to ensure your piece is protected during transit. Fragile stickers are applied to all packages.

How long does delivery take?+

UK deliveries typically arrive within 3–5 working days. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Custom commissions will have delivery timelines agreed upon in advance.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return a piece?+

For ready-made pieces, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the artwork is in its original condition. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

What if my piece arrives damaged?+

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photographs of the damage. I will arrange a replacement or full refund. Your satisfaction is my priority.

Are custom commissions refundable?+

Due to the bespoke nature of custom work, commissions are non-refundable once work has commenced. I share progress photos throughout so you can provide feedback at every stage.

About the Art

What materials do you use?+

I use premium UV-resistant epoxy resin, high-quality pigments, metallic powders, gold leaf, crystal chips, and natural elements like dried flowers and preserved moss. All materials are carefully selected for durability and visual impact.

Is each piece truly unique?+

Yes! Due to the organic nature of resin, no two pieces are ever identical. Even if I create a piece inspired by an existing design, the natural flow and interaction of the resin will create a one-of-a-kind result.

How durable is resin art?+

Resin art is extremely durable. Once fully cured, it's scratch-resistant, waterproof, and UV-resistant. With proper care, your piece will retain its beauty for decades.

Will the colours fade over time?+

I use UV-resistant resin and high-quality pigments to minimise fading. To ensure longevity, avoid placing your piece in direct sunlight for extended periods. With proper placement, colours will remain vibrant for many years.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my resin art?+

Caring for resin art is simple. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and direct sunlight. See our full Care Guide for more details.

Can resin art be hung in a bathroom or kitchen?+

Resin is waterproof and humidity-resistant, making it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. However, avoid placing it directly above heat sources like hobs or radiators, as extreme heat can affect the resin over time.
